Removing diamonds from weapons Empty

When I put the first diamond in my weapon it came up with +13 int and i wanted to get rid of it but it didn't let me. I was using moonstones but it kept saying "This item cannot be used". So I don't know if its a bug or not but could you fix it please.

Go to Coral Island or Saint Morning then click [Upgrade Specialist] BoboChan then choose "Remove Jewel from Ultimate Weapon" then double click the weapon and moonstone then click start.
