PostSubject: Question about Wand Bolts   Sat Aug 14, 2010 8:29 pm

Ok before i start, lets start with some data:
My ele is lv 129 using a 10/10 bwand and shield (20 Elec A's)
Bwand is +10 36% pvp dmg
28% attack suit
+20 adept set

ok

So i'm in arena, and i have use of the party i was using earlier to get 129, and i had RS activated. So i was hitting some ranger, and i hit a 54k (Mind you, these are all non charge). Ok i'm happy about that, a little later on, i hit a knight with link attack, and it only hit 6.8k (so obviously def has something to do with it).

But then i went to asuras, and hit them normally, and it was only 12k, and then i used link, and it was 22k. So why is there such a big difference between pvm and pvp? Shouldn't (technically) the pvm dmg be higher then the pvp dmg? ._.

chances are that the ranger you hit got crit whereas the asura was not. throw in pvp damage and level difference and that might answer your question.

they were both crits, and the pvp dmg shouldn't do that much difference

in ex: my ranger does 50-60k in pvm, and with 36% pvp dmg, can do up to 30k in pvp.
and not really sure how a lvl difference could matter, both my ranger and ele are lvl 129, and yet two different effects about their dmg is happening
