| I am just wondering if the "Update Rates" are not built into the emulator, meaning the only way to change them would be be to also raise the XP ect. Rate. It could be all tied together like most emulation servers. If we are lucky, they will have their own setting, but I have to be honest and state I have not even looked at Flyff server files. I may download a copy and just glance over and see... | |

| -Update-
I just downloaded the files, and after looking I do think its possible. I see most are server side files, but are not in 100% English which makes it difficult to do if you can't find the correct setting to change.
Also changing even 1 could cause a wipe again, and could make it not work at all. Just something to think about before changing them.

| There is quite a few files you need to change, Non the less there very easy to change. You just need to know what your doing and be observant. Changing the files and making a mistake wont effect the database one bit. Please know what you are talking about before stating such a thing. | |

| I never said it was in the DB, I said the files are not 100% English, due to some is in the native language. If you can't read it, and try to change it your very likely to make a mistake. Also the rates could be in the server script before its compiled, which is UNCHANGEABLE, unless you compile your own version of the server, and then you would have to have "Trunk" access to the server dev files.
As for knowing what I am talking about, I will just sit here and laugh that one off..

| The rates are not in the source. That's what I'm telling you. 90% of the Server information/data is read from the Lua Script and Text files in the Resource folder. There isn't that much information that is stored in the source. | |

| From what I understand, Your saying that the Upgrade rates are not changeable and is in the source. I'm saying, The Upgrade rates are changeable, Easy text file edits. | |

| No their not in the DB, but could be in the source (Some use both core / text files together). I know they are also in text files in the resource folder. The problem is editing a file that is 1/2 native language is difficult. Its like some of it is in Korean, or Chinese. Not sure which one. But if your computer is not set up correctly to edit those languages it can make it more difficult.
But its possible none the less.

| They are not in the source. I have already successfully changed the upgrade rates on my test server, I didn't need any language packs to understand what to edit. Its common sense.. | |
