[TUT] How to make your own glow!

In this Tuturial you will learn how to make your own glow!
------------------------------------------------------
Files needed:
FlyFF Folder
Paint-NET or DDS converter.(Paint-NET is better..)

Downloads:

-----Guide for Paint-NET-------

Step 1:
Find these file in the folder FlyFF/SFX/Texture:
sfx_EffectEnchant.dds
sfx_skljstbldsupport05.dds
sfx_SklJstSupEscape01.dds

Step 2:
Open Paint-NET
File
Open

Find your FlyFF folder and then open SFX/Texure and choose these files:

sfx_EffectEnchant.dds
sfx_skljstbldsupport05.dds
sfx_SklJstSupEscape01.dds

Now you can change the colors! and can mix colors too!
about the Hand glow you can put picture of smily or somthing but make sure it will be with BLACK BACKGROUND!!

after you done save it and DO NOT change the file name. (save it as DDS)

-------Guide for DDS Converter--------

Step 1:
Find these file in the folder FlyFF/SFX/Texture:
sfx_EffectEnchant.dds
sfx_skljstbldsupport05.dds
sfx_SklJstSupEscape01.dds

Now copy these files to your desktop.

Step 2:
Open DDS Converter and convert the DDS files to JPG.
Open the JPG files in MS Paint and color all in black.
Now color it again with any color that you want (can 2 colors too) shaped like the old one. (not full Square).
Convert it back to DDS and replace the files in the FlyFF folder!

--------Guide for Photoshop edit!--------
Step 1:
Find these file in the folder FlyFF/SFX/Texture:
sfx_EffectEnchant.dds
sfx_skljstbldsupport05.dds
sfx_SklJstSupEscape01.dds

Now copy these files to your desktop.

Step 2:
Open DDS Converter and convert the DDS files to JPG.
Open the files in photoshop.
now edit it! =]
you can use Gradiant on the shape to mix colors and stuff / Filters!
after you done save as JPG and use DDS converter to convert back to dds.
put it in the Texture folder and... DONE!

I prefer Photoshop,

Too bad it can't open dds files.

EDIT: That's why I have Paint.NET too.

Did ya ever try looking for a plugin because gimp you have to put a plug-in in it

Screw that go through a forum or something and find a complete free version and you have to keygen it it'll teach you how to download and what not..

I hate anything that deals with day trials to be honest lol. I had a bad experience once....
Oh well, I'm not really into editing that much, I just do it to kill time whenever there's nothing else to do.
